Mission Statement
At the Flying W Ranch we have been privileged for well over half a century to provide the finest in family dining and entertainment, and to extend to our guests a special brand of western hospitality.
It is the desire of the owners of the Flying W that the Ranch experience be a blessing as we endeavor to represent the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and in deed to those who come. During our regular Chuckwagon suppers, a prayer is offered before dinner and one or two western gospel songs are sung during the show.
In addition to the nightly blessing that our Chuckwagon supper and show has become, the Flying W Ranch is also home base to the Colorado Cowboys for Jesus. The ministry of the CCFJ is to share the Gospel and to celebrate the joy of His redemption through western story, song and testimony. The members of the CCFJ, Scott Vaughn, Vern Thomson, and Joe Stephenson were Flying W Wranglers collectively for nearly ½ century. They returned home in April of 2008 and through this 'home-grown' ministry arm, the Flying W Ranch is happy to boldly proclaim the gospel to all nations. In addition, special "gospel jamboree" events happen at the Ranch throughout the year and "Cowboy Church" is held every Sunday in the Church at the Ranch. This non-denominational service is pastored by Scott Vaughn and is open to all who wish to attend a basic Bible-believing cowboy church. For details call the ranch at 719-598-4000.
